“One thing that sets me apart is my direct experience working with education legislation in Tallahassee. In the last session alone, over 300 bills impacting Florida's education system were introduced, and I meticulously reviewed each one. My goal is to ensure that statutory intent is faithfully executed at the county level, bridging the significant gap that currently exists between state and local educational policies. Encountering obstacles that seemed insurmountable at the county level, I have also taken the initiative to seek solutions at the state level, successfully advocating for changes that I am now committed to implementing correctly within our county. We stand at a pivotal moment in the history of education, with unprecedented opportunities for school choice that affect public, private, PEP, unique abilities and homeschoolers alike. I am dedicated to shaping policies that reflect this new landscape, ensuring that every student in our community benefits from these transformative changes.”
